The Role:

  • Assist with industrial engineering initiatives and quality improvement projects to enhance production efficiency and accuracy.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients to gather and clarify project requirements for injection and carbon molds.
  • Create and review designs using CAD software, ensuring they are functional, cost-effective, and production-ready.
  • Coordinate with the tool room staff on mold, jig, and fixture fabrication, modification, and repair.
  • Develop and implement jigs and fixtures to improve the accuracy and repeatability of part production.
  • Support the plant in areas of industrial engineering by analyzing workflows and recommending improvements.
  • Collaborate with the quality team to develop solutions that improve part consistency and reduce defects.
  • Cost projects and coordinate pricing with customers to ensure alignment with client expectations.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges and implement process improvements.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastic injection mold products or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with designing for injection and carbon molds.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in costing projects and collaborating with customers on pricing.

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Approximately $40.00 per hour commensurate with experience

Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental. Parking is available on-site.
